Avocados contain vitamins B5, B9, C, E & K; potassium, copper, lutein and carotenols.

Fats

Over 75% of fat in the avocados is unsaturated.  Most of the fat in avocados come from fatty acids called oleic acid, this is a monounsaturated fat often calls as "good fats".

The good fats in avocados help the body to absorb vitamins A, E, D, and K.

Cholesterol

Avocados don't contain any cholesterol. Eating sources of good fats help control cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
